Todd Steward and Cherie Thompson are the owners of Steward’s Hardware Company. They both grew up on the shoreline of Connecticut. Todd attended Morgan High School class of 1987 and Cherie was a graduate of Old Saybrook Senior High School in 1989. They were married in 1991 and have two children and a dog named “Bob”.

Todd has a great deal of hardware experience beginning with his teen years working in a local hardware store in Clinton. At one time, he was an outside sales representative for Hillman Fasteners. Todd has also previously been a manager of an Ace Hardware store and has finally brought his knowledge and skill back to his home town.

Cherie and Todd have a strong belief in great customer service, wide product selection, competitive pricing, and convenience for their customers. This belief is visible as soon as you walk through their door. They have chosen to be a member of the Ace Hardware cooperative, which is the largest retailer-owned cooperative in the industry. Cherie and Todd believe that helping you is the most important thing they have to do everyday.
